Operation Christmas Child

What goes in the box is Fun... What comes out is Eternal!

Every gift-filled shoebox is a powerful tool for evangelism and discipleship - transforming the lives of children and their families around the world through the Good News of Jesus Christ! Each fall, members of Shepherd of the Lakes join with organizations around the world by packing shoebox gifts for boys and girls in impoverished countries. In 2015 more than 11 million shoeboxes were filled and given. During the entire year, SOTL members collect toys, school supplies, hygiene items, candy, and other good things for children. In November they are packed into shoeboxes and delivered to children through the ministry of Operation Christmas Child. In the past two years, the nearly 500 shoeboxes packed by SOTL members have been delivered to children in Uganda, Kenya, Indonesia, and India.
